Pinball Machine Documentation

 

For this project, we where suppose to make a pinball machine form different things that we learn throughout the class like laser cutter, 3d printer, and carvey. I made two things a puller that can shoot the marble, and the holder for the fidget spinners. The way that I made it was by measuring a cardboard pinball machine that we created earlier. I measured the puller in the pinball machine with a caliper, then put the measurements in fusion 360 and printed three parts.The first part was a round cinder with a hole in it, the next was a big round stopper so it can be able to be pulled and the last is another round piece that goes in the hole in the first one and, has a stopper that is in the end of it.

 

My favorite part was measuring items around the room to create the puller, like markers and pencils, and working with my teammates. The tools that I used where  fusion 360 calipers
and 3d printer. what learned was working with my teammates  and creating/thinking fast. The things that I would change are the time, and that me and my teammates can work so well.

For this project I used a real Lego mini-fig, to create a copy that was 3d printed. Grab a real Lego mini-fig and measure all the socket and pegs and measured everything then put the
measurements in fusion. Before I printed it I times it by two and printed it in a 3d printer. My favorite part was using the calipers and measuring the Lego pieces and seeing if it would fit
or not in the sockets and pegs, but at the end  I couldn’t believe how smooth it was to move the pieces of the Lego mini-fig.

 

Some of The tools I used were fillet, combined, extrude, hole, press and pull and etc.Problems I faced was the upper hip on Lego figure, and the inside of the torso. The way I fixed it was by
using fillet to smooth it down so thelegs can fit.This project helped me learn how to use fusion 360 and, the tools in it like extrude fillet and etc. I also learn  how to work a 3d printer
and, print objects in it. If I was to change anything I would changed the way I used the tools in fusion and, make it so I had more time to perfect my Lego mini-fig.

circles to let it be able to fit on a real Lego brick  the bottom part of the Lego. To overcome this problem, I made the circles bigger and space it more until it fit. My favorite part was
using the calipers and writing the measurements for the Lego bricks and putting the measurements in fusion and try to fit it with the real Lego brick.

 

This project  help me understand fusion 360 more and by using tools like mirror, fillet and line, and how to use the 3d printer and, to  create objects  in the 3d printer. I learned how to
print a Lego brick copy and how to use supports by using flash print. If there was anything different I would change, is the way I used fusion 360 and make the Lego brick on the top and bottom of the circles smoother by using fillet. I also learned how to use  the calipers and using them to measured the objects.

For this project I used a Mancala board that i had at my home, and brought it to class so everybody can see how it looks/works. Then after that I measured  all of the circles, and the
length/with of it. Then after that I put the measurements from the Mancala board into fusion, and sent it the the Carvey. When I used the Carvey to create the Mancala bored it was fun to
unscrew the bit and to put the right bit in that I needed.

 

My favorite part was when I got the circles to be smooth, and when I change the bit to the right bit. The tools I used where fillet, mirror, move, and create, and also the calipers. I also
used fusion 360 and the Carvey. The challenge I faced was smoothing  the circles in the Mancala bored. the way I fixed it was by changing it until I liked it. If there was anything I will
change I wouldchange the way I created the circles and make it smoother.

For this project I used a picture of a kingdom hearts crown that i found online, then trace it in a program called inkscape. After that I trace the lines in the kingdom hearts crown picture
and key-chain that I found online, Using inks-cape. My favorite part was picking the picture that I used to make the maze out of, but at first it was difficult to chose, because there where
lots of pictures to use. At the end I chose the kingdom hearts crown from my favorite game at the time. After that i used inkscape to trace and create the  Laser cut the bottom, middle and
front of the maze, and glue/screwed it together. Every maze has three layers the glass top the lines int he middle and the wooden bottom.

 

The tools I used in inks cape  where the bezier tool, edit path tool, and select tool. I learn how to use some of the tools in inks-cape, like bezier and edit path and  how to laser cut, and
all the button uses. The challenges that I faced was using  program that I used witch was called inkscape and learning the tools in it, and learning how to use buttons and placing the
laserthe right way so it works. If there was anything that i would change is the time, because this was my second favorite project that i did. I really wanted to make another thing but did not havethe time for it.I would also change the way I used the tools and make a harder object to laser cut.
