Fabslam Tabby Fab

For this Fabslam, we were given the problem of finding ways to make transportation better and more efficient. Our team was assigned to making a skateboard that could be easily carried around someplace like a college campus. We decided to us a 3-d printed hinge to make it fold and fit in your backpack. my greatest pride and challenge (and also my biggest contribution) for this project was making a hinge that could be printed in one piece, so that it wouldn’t be able to come apart where we joined it. I finally came upon this design:

I think we usually worked well as a group, because we shared responsibilities. Ethan put the skateboard  together and Isadora worked on the website. This is a photo of our most recent prototype.
